​GAME PROJECTS

During my studies at The Game Assembly, I have had the opportunity to work in a team with fellow programmers, artists, animators, level designers and technical artists to develop a game in our own proprietary engine built by our programmers.

 

These projects have taught me the importance of communication, cooperation, and coming up with solutions to problems, both independently and in groups, as we collectively work with an engine where only we know the ins and outs of it.

 

I have learned a lot from these experiences and they in turn have taught me to become a better technical artist and a better person.

ACTION ROLE-PLAYING GAME

SPITE:
WEB OF DECAY

PREMISE:
"Your village has been corrupted by an arachnoid blight. With your newly obtained powers you must fight your way deeper into the swamp to destroy the source."

MY CONTRIBUTIONS:​

• Closely collaborating with programmers for bug & stress-testing translucent texture rendering & blending modes in-game.

• Drawing concept art for visual effects in Photoshop & conceptualizing VFX animations in Maya.

• Responsible for modeling VFX meshes in Maya and texturing them using Photoshop and Substance Designer.

OUR TEAM:

• 6 Programmers.
• 4 Artists.
• 2 Animators.
3 Level Designers.
3 Technical Artists.

PRODUCTION TIME:

• 10 weeks part-time.
